My name is Cindy Zacarias and I am an experienced stitcher and draper looking for more experience in associate design. For the past ten years I have worked constructing a wide variety of garments for small businesses, theatre, and fashion.  I lived on the West Coast and I am now here in NYC looking to gain more experience working in design. I enjoy supporting designers and projects through detailed note taking and project management. My background in construction is a foundation of my interest in design: I enjoy the practical challenge of making "the vision" a reality- I'm experienced in project management and detailed support to the designer. In addition to assistant or associate positions, I'm also interested in sharing my skills through teaching: I have created lesson plans to teach sewing and art to kids and adults and would enjoy gaining more of that experience.
